How wonderful, Grace! What’s not to love about Paris?

My motto over the past few years has been “Carpe Diem” or “Seize the Day,” and I’m glad I adhered to it. I spent a summer working/living in London and one doing the same in Edinburgh and had a lovely time. I was glad I made the effort, because this year, my Mom has been quite ill and I’ve spent five months at her house, so no travel abroad for me this summer.

However, it has turned out to be another version of Seize the Day, because it’s a block of time with my Mom that I may never have again, and it’s precious in its own right.

When adventure beckons, jump at it! Life is unpredictable.
