Bookbub recently sent out a pre-order alert for the The Captive Duke, though as some of you know, The Captive (original title) first came out in 2014. What’s going on? Welp, Christian and Gilly got a new cover, a new keyword in the title, and… that’s about it. Cover art licenses can expire, and the original publisher took the opportunity to slightly re-brand the story, though the HEA itself remains unchanged. I expect The Traitor and The Laird will get similar treatment eventually.
